Bo currently serves as CEO of the Southland Development Authority, where he leads public-private initiatives that drive economic growth, entrepreneurship, and community revitalization throughout the South Suburbs of Chicago.

A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School, Bo has been building businesses since childhood—launching his first company at eight years old and raising his first equity capital at eighteen. His career has included roles at Morgan Stanley and TSG Capital Group, and he has helped raise more than $100 million in equity for private equity and venture-backed companies while serving as a founder, operator, investor, and C-suite executive.

Bo also served as Business Administrator for the City of Newark, New Jersey, under then-Mayor Cory Booker, where he led city operations and major fiscal and operational reforms. Since then, he has advised municipalities, entrepreneurs, and organizations across the United States and internationally on economic development, leadership, and transformational growth.
